Delta Air Lines is an American company. It is one of the oldest companies in the United States that are engaged in air transportation (Delta Air Lines was founded in 1924). The company is often referred to simply as “Delta”. This airline is in first place in the world in terms of the number of aircraft, destinations and passenger traffic. Delta Air Lines aircrafts fly to Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, South and North America, and the Middle East. The company became the largest commercial air carrier in the world in 2010. Then Northern Airlines was acquired.

The company’s fleet consists of 798 aircrafts. The most popular model is the Boeing 737-900 (130 planes). In total, Delta Air Lines operates 16 plane models.
