What is a lounge
Lounge zones have approximately the same list of services. Passengers can either have a snack or get a full premium meal. The lounges sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. In some cases, the passenger gets access to unlimited drinks.
Here you can spend your leisure time interestingly. The lounges have TVs, Wi-Fi, magazines and newspapers. The rooms are comfortably furnished, many lounges are equipped with a shower. A feature of the lounge areas is that they are quiet, so you can even work here if you didn’t have time to finish your project before the flight or want to repeat your speech before the conference.
Lounges at JFK Airport
There are currently six terminals at the airport. Each of them has its own lounge areas. In terminal 1 you will find locations from such companies: Korean Air Lines, Lufthansa, Air France/KLM (these two companies have one lounge area for two). Terminal 2 is different in that there is a lounge only from Delta Air Lines, as this company enjoys special privileges here.
In terminal 3 you can find lounge areas from Etihad, Virgin Atlantic, SWISS, Emirates, Air India. If you arrive at Terminal 5, you can use the JetBlue Rooftop Terrace or Aer Lingus Lounge. In addition, there is a special lounge – USO Center T5/JFK. It is designed for military personnel of the US Air Force and their families. The fact is that one of the parts of the airport was given to the US military. This terminal is a gift from JetBlue Airways.
Terminal 7 is almost completely occupied by British Airways lounges. There are 5 of them here. Also here you will find the Alaska Airlines lounge. Terminal 8 is entirely dedicated to American Airlines. There are several lounges that differ only slightly in terms of the list of services.
